On Sunday 12 May, members of Edinburgh Medical Aid for Palestinians did a fundraising walk, from Leith Links to Holyrood Park, where members of Protest in Harmony were there to greet them.

The walkers, organised by Sylvia Crick, came from Leith Links to Joppa, up by Brunstane Burn, and then along the Innocent railway path to end at the Gaza solidarity camp outside the Scottish Parliament. There, they joined members of Protest in Harmony to sing several songs, led by Jane Lewis, including The Children are Always Ours, Ceasefire Now, and Roses and Bread. Sylvia spoke about the team’s work, supporting Medical Aid for Palestinians. We also heard from one of the participants at the camp.
