On Sunday 10 November, members of Protest in Harmony joined the Peace and Justice Centre Alternative Remembrance event at the Edinburgh Quaker Meeting House.
Led by Shereen Benjamin, choir members sang Roses and Bread, The Children are Always Ours and Lay Down Your Sword and Shield (Ain’t gonna study war).
There was then a walk to the Peace Tree in Princes Street Gardens, where the choir sang Senzenina, an anti-apartheid folk song from South Africa that translates to “What have we done?”
